Launch: NHS Fife Coronavirus website
In January 2020, Factory73 were awarded the contract to design and build a brand new public-facing website for NHS Fife, one of the country's largest health boards.
Within four weeks of project commencement in February 2020, the country was in lockdown due to Coronavirus and NHS Fife found themselves stuck with their existing website, which was impossible to keep updated and didn't perform well on mobile devices.
Thanks to Factory73's innovative and agile way of working, we are able to expedite the development of a fully accessible, standalone Coronavirus resource, powered by Umbraco, that gave NHS Fife communications all of the tools they needed to communicate vital health information to their staff, patients, clinicians and relatives.
From initial concept to launch in under three weeks, the website is being widely used and has become a vital tool in spreading information relating to the pandemic.
Update: 30th October 2020
With the launch of the new NHS Fife website, all existing Coronavirus content was imported into the main website and continues to be updated regularly by the NHS Fife communications team.
